The Creature by Kimana McCallum

Inspired by Frankenstein by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley

Creator, I can see
the look of fear you have
as you dare to look at me.

Creator, I am alone
wondering if you will ever
accept me as your own.

Creator, I am weak
I am scared and I am tired
Will you ever be proud of me?

Monster, is what I am
you longed for perfection
couldn’t even make a man

Monster, is what you see
a demon and a bastard
you tremble at my feet

Monster, is what you made me
but the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree
no, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree

A monster is what you want me to be
so a monster is what I shall be.

  1. Right here is the perfect blog for everyone who really wants to understand this
topic. You understand a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I
actually would want to…HaHa). You certainly put a
fresh spin on a subject that’s been written about for
many years. Wonderful stuff, just wonderful!

    1. Thank you so much 🙂 It really means the world to me ❤ I guess studying the book for half a year during A-Levels came in handy after all, haha!
