I am a very different person than I was when I first made this blog, and after some careful consideration, I have decided to change the type of content I am creating. When I first began writing these posts, I was mostly looking for something to fill the time. I wanted a distraction from my unhappiness and the nothingness that seemed to surround my life, but now my life is more.
I have recently finished my therapy programme and am feeling much happier with myself and how I see my life going in the future. I’m also taking new medication that I strongly believe is making a difference in my general mood. As of last month, I was able to re-enter the working world. I am currently a part-time morning cleaner and I couldn’t be happier with my job. The hours and pay are brilliant and the people I work with are some of the most welcoming and lovely people I’ve met. They’ve already helped me come a long way in such a short amount of time.
But enough of my personal dribble.
The future for this blog is going to be based around things I truly care about, and want to explore more. Most of the posts I had made were just for the sake of actually writing something here instead of a genuine interest in what I was doing, and for that I’m sorry. The content is lacking and stale because I allowed it to be. So, what will I be writing and when will you be seeing it?
I am taking a short hiatus from now until January 1st when I will return with the first post in my new series, Horror in History. This series will detail some of the most horrific people and events that have taken place in the world. With this series, I will also be introducing a handful of other projects including Mythos, The Written Word, Stitchcraft, and Rot Your Brain. As for the posts that won’t fit into these categories, I will be creating a home for them in Passion Posts, where every other thought I may feel like sharing with you will be left.
I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to read my blog posts, and especially those who have found something enjoyable in them despite my lack of effort. I promise you will be seeing more from me than what you have, and hopefully, you’ll enjoy entering this new phase of my life and my blog.
I’ll see you on January 1st.
